Go CU BUFFS!

Last weekend was the first CU football game of the season. (They won of course!) It was also the first game for Isabella. She didn't get to go to the game, grandpa Ron babysat her, but she had to cheer them on! Her Dad wanted her to be in the spirit, so we bought her a little outfit to wear for the games this year.

We are all doing well! Isabella and I are sad for summer to end, but we are looking forward to Christmas when we will go visit everyone in Peoria! Next week Isabella has her 2 month check-up. Yes, that means shots! Can you believe she is already almost 2 months old? Now, if she would only sleep a little longer at night....

My how Isabella has grown

Isabella is now 6 weeks old and she is growing like a weed. We aren't sure of her exact weight, but she is probably close to weighing 7 pounds! We are all continuing to do well. Jill and Isabella are not looking forward to summers end. They both enjoy their walks everyday around the neighborhood. The picture attached is the most recent. (It actually looks like she is smiling for it!)

1 Month Old

Today Isabella is 4 weeks old! Wow how time flies right? We went to the doctor on Thursday for a weight check. Can you believe little Isabella is now weighing in at 5 lbs 14 oz!!! She gain 1 pound in 2 weeks! I guess that means I am doing my job right with her feedings. Isabella is continuing to do well. We still have some nightly struggles with bedtime, but nothing horrible to speak of. It is hard to believe she is already 4 weeks old. I know someday we will look back to this time, and think that it was forever ago that she was this small. We are enjoying everyday with her and are so glad to have her in our lives. We had fun doing another little photo shoot today with the help of Aunt Diane and Hannah. Thanks to them for helping out this week!!!

2 weeks old

Isabella is now 2 weeks old. We went to the doctor yesterday for her 2 week check-up. Everything is fine! She now weighs 4 lbs 14 oz, which is up from her birth weight! She is eating alot, so I wasn't surprised that she had gained weight. This is a picture of Isabella in her car seat. It shows just how tiny she is.

Isabella Marie Martini Has Arrived

As you all know by now, Isabella Marie was born on July 12 at 9:00pm. Weighing just 4lb 12 oz and 19 inches long. She is a beautiful and healthy little girl, even though she is a couple of weeks early. I think she is growing a little more each day. We are all doing well, just trying to get into the swing of things. What a life change, but definitely for the better! Our first family picture was taken at the hospital just before coming home. (No we did not plan on all of us wearing pink) Since she is now 1 week old, we have decided to attach her 1 week old picture. (Jill did a little photo shoot with Isabella yesterday.) By the way, she has to wear preemie diapers and preemie clothes aren't too small.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Happy 4th! This morning went witnessed our first neighborhood bike parade. We met Jill, Alex and Jackson, who just moved into the "hood", and watched all of the greatly decorated bikes, stroller, and wagons. What a fun experience it was and will continue to be as our kids grow older! By the way, Jill is now over 36 weeks along, so Jellybean could be making her arrival very soon! We will continue to keep you posted. She is feeing great and starting a little bit of the nesting to get ready.

The 8th Month

The 33 week belly

We are now counting down the weeks until Jellybeans arrival. The whole experience has gone pretty quickly without many complaints. Jill is pretty tired by the end of the day and Jellybean is giving her LOTS of heartburn. (Maybe that means she will have a lot of hair!) Those are the only complaints Jill has right now. Everyone keeps telling us, with summer here, the last month will be miserable. I don't think that will be true. Jill is still always cold! We are definitely looking forward to seeing what Jellybean looks like and just pray day to day that she is healthy and that Jill has a good delivery.
