Fun In The Tub and 1st Visit To The Airport

We wanted to show you Isabella's new bathtub! She loves to take a bath. As you can see, she just loves to lounge there. She very rarely cries!
Isabella went to the airport for the first time to visit Aunt Jan and Uncle Mark during their layover. We had a good time visiting and eating some dinner together. She has seen all of her Illinois aunts and uncles in the first 2 months of her life! She is patiently waiting to meet Grandma and Grandpa Hohulin at Christmas time!

2 Month Check-up

Yesterday Isabella had her 2 month check-up with the doctor. Unfortunately, it was also the day she received her first immunizations. She now weighs 7 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 inches! She is growing, yah!! The doctor is very impressed with her gain and said she is the cutest baby. With that said, Isabella had her first modeling "gig" yesterday too. She will be in their new broucher for their office! Now, Aunt Beth says I should get her into modeling. I don't think I will do that, but it is fun to say she is already in pictures.

Isabella did really well with the shots. She only cried hard for about 30 seconds, and then she was asleep. In the evening she was kind of fussy and ended up having a fever, but she seems better this morning.

Sorry, I don't have a picture to post today. I will get one up soon!

Smile For The Camera

I know that this entry has Isabella in the same outfit....but there is one difference. She SMILED for the camera for the first time! It is also the first time that Isabella smiled for her Dad too. This was week 2 of the CU football season, and since CU won last week, we have to dress her in the same outfit. It is a good luck thing, according to Anthony. Luckily, CU won today, barely. I'm not biased or anything, but she sure is cute isn't she?!

Go CU BUFFS!

Last weekend was the first CU football game of the season. (They won of course!) It was also the first game for Isabella. She didn't get to go to the game, grandpa Ron babysat her, but she had to cheer them on! Her Dad wanted her to be in the spirit, so we bought her a little outfit to wear for the games this year.

We are all doing well! Isabella and I are sad for summer to end, but we are looking forward to Christmas when we will go visit everyone in Peoria! Next week Isabella has her 2 month check-up. Yes, that means shots! Can you believe she is already almost 2 months old? Now, if she would only sleep a little longer at night....
