Isabella's Swimming Lessons

Isabella has been going to swimming lessons the past couple of Saturday's.  It is a very beginner class for ages 6mths to 3 years.  A parent has to be in the water with the child at all times.  It is a very basic class that really is just getting your child used to the water.  She is supposed to jump off of the side, but hasn't done that so far. (She knows how to from swimming in the summer) She is also supposed to practice floating, but doesn't want to do that either.  Otherwise, she really looks forward to going and has a good time.  At the end of class, they can go to the kiddie pool where there is a slide, and she loves that, of course!  We will probably be signing Gianna up in the next month or so.  We feel that starting her at the infant age would be better as she won't be scared to float in the water, etc.

Recent Activities

I just wanted to share some more recent pictures of, well mostly Gianna.  She is continuing to grow so fast!  I do have to say, that last night was the first time Gianna slept unswaddled and she didn't make a peep all night!  That was a big decision for me/us!  Most of you "experienced" Moms/Grandma's may not realize what a big deal it is to unswaddle your child and hope to get a good nights sleep!  I am praying that she continues this tonight and the rest of her infant life!

We were trying to have some fun with Gianna by putting her on this train.  You can tell she is soo excited.

Gianna has graduated to the activity center!!  She loves it!

Oh, since yesterday was Valentine's Day, Isabella and I decorated some cookies and she got to enjoy eating a couple too!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Videos

Here are a couple of videos of the girls.  We were trying to fill our freezing cold evenings with a little fun!  The first one is Gianna...she likes to chew on her pacifier backwards.  We think she is teething, but it is sure taking a long time for those first teeth to cut through!

The video of Isabella is of her singing.  Now, the first song she is singing, I can't translate for you this time because I don't really know what she is saying.  She sings that particular song around the house most days.  You will for sure recognize the second song.
