HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Isabella wanted us to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving for her! We are so Thankful for Isabella this year. She really brightens our days. She makes us laugh everyday now that she is making "raspberries" with her mouth and chattering more and more. Today was an extra exciting day! She rolled over onto her stomach all by herself. I didn't even see her do it because my back was turned for just a few seconds. When I turned around she was on her stomach, head up, looking around. She is definitely growing too fast....just as everyone said she would. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and/or friends.

4 Months Old Today

It is hard to believe that Isabella is 4 months already! Today she had to go to the doctor for her 4 month check-up and shots. The doctor said she is doing very well. As of today, she weighs 9 pounds 11 ounces and is 23 inches long. She is still only in the 5th percentile for weight. The doctor was very impressed on how alert she is and that she is holding her head up pretty well. The doctor also told us that she felt Isabella's bottom teeth, so that explains why she was up alot last night crying! I can't believe that she is already getting teeth. She still seems so little for that. Isabella also had 4 immunizations today and she did very well. We came home and now she is fast asleep, taking her nap. We just hope that she has a good evening and isn't too fussy.

Church Dedication

This past Sunday we had Isabella Dedicated to the Lord at our church. It was just a short ceremony in front of the church congregation. Isabella received her first Bible and a tree to plant to help her remember what an important day it was. Grandpa Ron, Aunt Jill & Uncle Alex & Jackson, and Uncle Nicholas & Aunt Amy all came to witness the special day!

Happy Halloween!

We had a beautiful evening for Isabella's first Halloween. She didn't get to go trick or treating, but we had fun dressing her up. We spent the evening at Aunt Jill and Uncle Alex and cousin Jackson's house. They had a few trick or treaters come. It was alot of fun. We had a lot of candy, so since we weren't home, we left the candy in a bowl with a sign saying "help yourself to candy" at the front door. There was actually candy left when we arrived home! I'm sure next Halloween will be even more fun with Isabella hopefully walking by then!

Isabella's first Pumpkin Carving

Last night we thought we would carve a pumpkin for Isabella's first Halloween! She had a good time sitting watching Dad work away!

Having Fun

Isabella and I were just having some fun the other day. She is really starting to play a lot more and is starting to grab for toys. She also likes to lick or suck on her hands. That is something new too. Sometimes she sucks so loud, that when we are in a store, people have to look! We have been working on "tummy time" and rolling over too. She can actually roll to her side by herself, so I have been helping her finish rolling over.

Fall Season Fun

We took Isabella and cousin Angie up into the Rocky Mountain's to view the beautiful Aspen foilage. (Take note of the background!) What a fun day!
Then Isabella visited her first Pumpkin Patch! We went there with Aunt Jill and cousin Jackson and Gammy Martini and had fun taking pictures with the pumpkins in cute outfits! You are seeing a preview of her Halloween costume! In the last picture, Isabella isn't too sure about that "black cat" behind her!
